Clay masks are not only relaxing but provide beneficial effects to help your skin if apply weekly. I aim to do my masks every Saturday in the morning for a nice wake-up treat~
How to create the perfect mask:
- Grab your ingredients!
- Add your ingredients–the goal is to make a paste. It shouldn’t too runny. Add clay, water, oil and your add-on ingredients slowly to find the perfect consistency.
- Apply your mask–apply with your hands or with an old foundation brush for a less messy application. Make sure to get into those hard to reach places but avoid the delicate eye area. APPLY THE PASTE THICKLY!
- Wait–Do not allow the mask to completely dry, especially if you have dry skin. Anywhere between 10 to 15 minutes should be enough time for the clay to do it’s thing.
- Finally, rinse with luke warm water. Follow with your favorite moisturizer for healthy skin.
