Though, I promote color over neutral sometimes a nude nail is more appropriate. Maybe you want to tone it down for work or a subtle color for a date–whatever the reason a nude nail is a nice change without going completely bare.
As followed, nude nails do have their rules to bring out the best in you!
- Medium Skintone
- Medium skintones should find nude nail polishes that are both beige and pink. But proceed with caution. Do not choose beige nail polish with a yellow undertone to them; this causes sallowness. Cooler tones work well here for both warm undertones and cool undertone individuals. Try HIPP X RGB Nail Polish in S3 ($9.00). Or even Marc Jacob’s Enamored Hi-Shine Lacquer in Funny Girl ($18.00) which is a brown beige.
- Darker Skin
- Darker Skintones can go either light or dark with their nude nail polish. But should stay away from grey-like beige because this is draining against your chocolate skin. Try Zoya’s Nail Polish in Brigitte ($9.00) is a rosy beige. But if you are looking for something darker, try nail colors that are similar to colors of chocolate. A great example: Floss Gloss in Blood, Suede, & Tears ($8.00)
